Residential customers only. No contractors.
The Smiley Dump will be open quarterly (i.e. March, June, September and December) on the 1st Saturday of the month from 8:00 A.M. to Noon (or until the dumpsters are full)
There will be a charge of $25 for the first truck load/ $75 for a trailer load for customers residing with in the Smiley city limits. Customers must pay a water bill with all utilities and reside within the Smiley city limits. The utility billing must be current. Same day, second load will pay a rate of $75. Customers are asked to pay the dump fees prior to their use of the facility at Smiley City Hall or online. Customers will need to provide their receipt of payment to the operator. Payment will NOT be accepted by the operator. Customers who reside outside of the Smiley city limits will pay a rate of $50 per truck load and $75 per trailer load.
Brush pick-up every 1st Friday of the month.
Credit cards, checks and money orders are accepted at Smiley City Hall.
Online payments using credit cards is now available to customers.
No cash accepted.
Utility payments are due on the 20th of the month. If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment is due the following business day. Payments not received by close of business on the 20th of the month will have a $25 late fee added. If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, late fees will be added the second business day thereafter.
If payment is not received by 9:00 A.M. on the disconnection day, service will be disconnected. The disconnection day for unpaid accounts will be on the 10th of the following month. The past due amount and other fees must be paid before services are reconnected.
If your water meter is tampered with or turned on without City of Smiley's knowledge, you will be subject to pay fines, penalties and held responsible for any damages plus water usage cost during and before the water is turned back on.
If you do not receive a bill by mail, it is your responsibility to call or come to City Hall to determine the amount of you.
