The mission of the Smiley City Marshals is to enhance the quality of life in the city of Smiley by working cooperatively with the public to enforce laws, provide a safe environment, and reduce the fear of crime.

The Smiley City Marshal's are built upon a foundation of ethical and professional conduct and is committed to the highest level of moral principles and ethics.

All members of the department will adhere to the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics.

We are committed to equal application of the law to both the public and department alike.

We understand our role in the community and temper our application of the law with compassion and empathy.
